Eggless Butterless Whole wheat flour & Ragi Flour cake....Yumm

Hi Friends,

How about eating a cake without a guilt..

I mean when I say a cake having "No sugar, No egg, No baking powder, No vinegar, No Maida, No Butter"

Yeah you heard it right... Its so healthy that you can eat it like a meal. Think you are having wheat & Ragi flour chapatti or say Mudde (Bit twisted variety) with curd. Why I said so well Lets check out the recipe below...

Whole wheat flour and Ragi Flour cake (Eggless, Butterless, No Sugar, No Vinegar, No Maida, No Baking Powder)..

Ingredients...

Wheat Flour     225 gm
Ragi Flour        225 gm
Honey               1 Cup (adjust according to ur sweetness) + 2 tbsp
Baking Soda     1 tsp
Salt                   1 pinch
Thick Yoghurt  450 gm (It should be of real good homemade yoghurt, not sweet not sour)
Milk                  1/2 cup
Oil                     1/2 cup
Soaked Fruit      1 cup (Optional ) should be soaked for 24 hrs in any fruit juice of your choice.
Finally chopped Plum   3 no (Optional)

Process:-

1) Seive together Ragi Flour, wheat flour, baking soda and salt. Keep it aside.
2) Mix Yoghurt and honey together and keep aside.
3) Grease and dust the baking pan keep aside.
4) Start preheating Oven @ 170 degree.
5) Take Yoghurt honey mix and mix milk and oil to this mixture.
6) Now mix flour mixture to Yoghurt mix. Mix it well using cut n fold method.
7) Dust the soaked dry fruits with wheat flour (If adding) and put in the mixture.
8) Add the chopped plums to the mixture (If adding).
9) Now mix it gently.
10) Pour it into greased baking pan. Tap it nicely 4-5 times so that air comes out.
11) Spread the dry fruits on top if u wish to (Optional).
12) Now Bake it @ 160 degree for 35-40 min (until toothpick comes out clean).
13) Let it cool for 4-5 hrs.
14) Make honey water syrup and drizzle it or say just give a wash with it to your cake.

And your cake is ready. Enjoy it without any guilt.

Note  :- Your curd quality should be really good (Thick and a touch of sourness).
